Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has confirmed that 8 Pakistani citizens were martyred and 35 injured as a result of unprovoked and cowardly attacks by India. In a late-night press briefing, the military spokesperson provided detailed information regarding the series of aggressive actions carried out by India against Pakistan.
According to DG ISPR, India launched 24 attacks at six different locations inside Pakistan using a variety of weapons. These attacks were completely unprovoked and appeared to target innocent civilians deliberately. He described India’s actions as cowardly and aggressive, stating that such attacks are a clear violation of international law and human rights.
The DG ISPR emphasized that these assaults were not a result of any provocation from Pakistan’s side. Rather, India took unilateral and hostile action, putting the lives of peaceful citizens at risk. He added that among the injured, several are in critical condition and being treated at nearby hospitals. Furthermore, two individuals have gone missing after the attacks, and efforts are underway to locate them.
General Ahmed Sharif strongly condemned the Indian aggression and warned that Pakistan reserves the right to respond at the time and place of its choosing. He stated that Pakistan is a peaceful country but will not tolerate the targeting of its innocent population. He reiterated the strength and preparedness of the Pakistan Armed Forces in defending the country’s sovereignty and the safety of its people.
He also pointed out that India’s continuous violations along the border are not only dangerous for regional peace but also a deliberate attempt to escalate tensions. He urged the international community, particularly the United Nations and human rights organizations, to take notice of India’s behavior and hold it accountable for its hostile actions.
General Ahmed Sharif highlighted that Pakistan has always advocated for peace and stability in the region, but such cowardly acts by India force Pakistan to reassess its options. He made it clear that the responsibility for the loss of innocent lives lies entirely with the Indian government, which chose the path of violence instead of diplomacy.
As the nation mourns the loss of innocent lives, there is growing anger and grief among the public. Funerals of the martyrs are being held with full military honors, and the government has announced support for the families affected by the attack. The entire country stands united in condemning the Indian aggression and expressing solidarity with the victims.
The situation remains tense, and the government is closely monitoring the developments. DG ISPR assured the people that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully alert and capable of responding to any form of aggression. He concluded his statement by saying that the blood of the martyrs will not go in vain, and justice will be served.

ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق بھارت نے پاکستان کے اندر 6 مختلف مقامات پر 24 حملے کیے، جن میں مختلف اقسام کے مہلک ہتھیار استعمال کیے گئے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ان حملوں کا کوئی جواز نہیں تھا، اور ان کا مقصد صرف معصوم شہریوں کو نشانہ بنانا تھا۔ لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف نے بھارتی کارروائیوں کو بزدلانہ قرار دیا اور کہا کہ یہ حملے نہ صرف بین الاقوامی قوانین بلکہ انسانی حقوق کی بھی کھلی خلاف ورزی ہیں۔
انہوں نے بتایا کہ زخمیوں میں سے کئی افراد کی حالت تشویشناک ہے اور انہیں قریبی اسپتالوں میں طبی امداد فراہم کی جارہی ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ، دو افراد لاپتہ ہیں جن کی تلاش جاری ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بھارت کی یہ حرکات خطے کے امن کو تباہ کرنے کی ایک منظم کوشش ہیں، جس کا مقصد پاکستان کو اشتعال دلانا ہے۔
لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف نے زور دے کر کہا کہ پاکستان امن کا خواہاں ملک ہے، لیکن اگر ہماری خودمختاری یا عوام کی جان و مال کو خطرہ لاحق ہوا تو ہم منہ توڑ جواب دینے کی مکمل صلاحیت رکھتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ پاکستان اپنے شہداء کے خون کو رائیگاں نہیں جانے دے گا اور اس بزدلانہ اقدام کا بھرپور جواب دیا جائے گا۔
ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر نے عالمی برادری اور اقوام متحدہ سے اپیل کی کہ وہ بھارت کی اس کھلی جارحیت کا نوٹس لیں اور مظلوم پاکستانی عوام کو انصاف فراہم کریں۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ بھارت کی یہ کارروائیاں صرف پاکستان ہی نہیں بلکہ پورے خطے کے امن و استحکام کے لیے خطرہ ہیں۔
پاکستانی عوام اس واقعے پر شدید غم و غصے کا اظہار کر رہے ہیں اور شہداء کی نماز جنازہ پورے قومی اعزاز کے ساتھ ادا کی جارہی ہے۔ حکومت کی جانب سے شہداء کے لواحقین اور زخمیوں کے لیے مالی امداد کا اعلان بھی کیا گیا ہے۔ ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر نے قوم کو یقین دلایا کہ افواج پاکستان مکمل طور پر چوکس ہیں اور کسی بھی قسم کی جارحیت کا بھرپور جواب دینے کے لیے تیار ہیں۔
