انہوں نے ان شہداء اور غازیوں کا بھی ذکر کیا جنہوں نے ملک کی سلامتی کے لیے اپنی جانیں قربان کیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ آج کا امن انہی قربانیوں کی بدولت ممکن ہوا ہے۔ انہوں نے ان مہمات کی مذمت کی جو ان ہیروز کی توہین کرتی ہیں اور عوام سے کہا کہ ان کی قربانیوں کو ہمیشہ یاد رکھا جائے۔
قومی دفاع کا مستقبل
آئی ایس پی آر چیف نے اس بات کی یقین دہانی کروائی کہ افواج پاکستان ہر قسم کے خطرات سے نمٹنے کے لیے مکمل تیار ہیں۔ چاہے وہ روایتی جنگ ہو، سائبر حملے ہوں یا ہائبرڈ وار، فوج اپنی صلاحیتوں کو وقت کے تقاضوں کے مطابق ڈھال رہی ہے۔ لیکن انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا کہ یہ تیاری صرف تب ہی مؤثر ہوگی جب قوم متحد ہو۔
عوام کا اعتماد ہی فوج کی طاقت ہے
آخر میں انہوں نے قوم کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور کہا کہ عوام کی محبت اور اعتماد ہی فوج کی سب سے بڑی طاقت ہے۔ ان کے مطابق، جب قوم اور فوج ایک ہوں تو کوئی چیلنج بڑا نہیں ہوتا اور کوئی دشمن شکست نہیں دے سکتا۔
