General Chaudhry highlighted that, despite experiencing four consecutive days of missile and aerial strikes, senior officials from both countries have continued their dialogue through the established hotline. This consistent communication, he believes, is a strong indicator that both sides are interested in maintaining peace along the Line of Control (LoC). He dismissed any comparisons between India and Israel or Pakistan and Palestine, saying that these analogies are misleading and ignore the distinct geopolitical realities in South Asia.
He emphasized that Pakistan is a peace-loving nation but will respond swiftly and decisively if provoked. He stated that Kashmir remains an internationally recognized dispute and not an internal matter of India, as New Delhi often claims. Pakistan’s stance on this issue remains firm and consistent, in line with United Nations resolutions.
A Call for Rational Thinking in New Delhi
Lieutenant General Chaudhry urged Indian policymakers to adopt a more rational and peaceful approach toward regional matters. He stressed that peace in the region is contingent on India’s willingness to act responsibly. Referring to the Pulwama incident and other so-called terrorist attacks, he pointed out that India has failed to provide credible evidence implicating Pakistan. He accused the Indian government of exploiting such events to stir nationalist sentiments and justify its military aggression.
He also addressed the Indian government’s alleged manipulation of public opinion by labeling domestic unrest and freedom movements in Kashmir as terrorism. In a particularly striking part of the interview, the ISPR spokesperson mentioned that the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), which carried out the recent attack on the Jaafar Express, had publicly requested assistance from India. He further stated that some Indian political leaders, retired military officers, and public figures have openly supported such groups, raising serious questions about India’s commitment to peace in the region.
General Chaudhry revealed that in recent skirmishes, the Pakistan Air Force successfully shot down five Indian fighter jets, including three Rafale aircraft. Despite this, India has refused to acknowledge its losses, choosing instead to control the narrative domestically. He criticized the Indian government for its unwillingness to admit defeat and accept facts already recognized by the international community.

بھارت کی پاکستان مخالف تنظیموں کو حمایت
ترجمان پاک فوج نے انکشاف کیا کہ جعفر ایکسپریس پر حملہ کرنے والی تنظیم بی ایل اے نے کھلے عام بھارت سے مدد کی اپیل کی تھی۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ بھارت کے کئی سیاسی رہنما، ریٹائرڈ جرنیل اور دیگر شخصیات بی ایل اے کی حمایت میں بیان دے چکے ہیں۔
انہوں نے مزید بتایا کہ حالیہ کشیدگی کے دوران پاکستان نے بھارت کے پانچ جنگی طیارے مار گرائے، جن میں تین جدید رافیل طیارے بھی شامل تھے۔ دنیا جانتی ہے کہ یہ واقعہ حقیقت پر مبنی ہے لیکن بھارت اسے ماننے کو تیار نہیں۔
