سانحے کے بعد بنگلور پولیس نے رائل چیلنجرز بنگلور کے خلاف ایف آئی آر درج کر لی ہے۔ مقدمے میں ٹیم انتظامیہ، ایونٹ مینجمنٹ کمپنی اور کرناٹکا اسٹیٹ کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشن کی انتظامی کمیٹی کو بھی شامل کیا گیا ہے۔ حکام کے مطابق حفاظتی انتظامات کی سنگین غفلت کی وجہ سے یہ افسوسناک واقعہ پیش آیا۔
عوامی غم و غصہ اور شدید ردعمل
جاں بحق افراد کی اموات نے عوام کو شدید غم و غصہ میں مبتلا کر دیا ہے۔ لوگوں نے سوال اٹھایا کہ فرنچائز نے اتنے بڑے ہجوم کا اندازہ کیوں نہیں لگایا؟ اس غصے کو کم کرنے کے لیے فرنچائز نے مرنے والوں کے اہل خانہ کو 10 لاکھ روپے فی کس معاوضہ دینے کا اعلان کیا، مگر ناقدین کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ انسانی جانوں کا نعم البدل نہیں ہو سکتا۔
بی سی سی آئی نے خود کو ذمہ داری سے علیحدہ کر لیا
بی سی سی آئی کے سیکریٹری دیواجیت سائکیا نے واقعے پر افسوس کا اظہار کیا لیکن ساتھ ہی وضاحت کی کہ آئی پی ایل فرنچائزز کی ذاتی تقریبات پر بورڈ کا کوئی کنٹرول نہیں ہوتا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ایسے جشن فرنچائزز خود منعقد کرتے ہیں اور ان کی تمام تر ذمہ داری بھی انہی پر عائد ہوتی ہے۔
آئی پی ایل چیئرمین کا بھی فرنچائز پر الزام
آئی پی ایل چیئرمین ارون دھومل نے بھی اس واقعے کی ذمہ داری فرنچائز پر ڈال دی۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ بی سی سی آئی کو وکٹری پریڈ کی معلومات نہیں تھیں اور نہ ہی وہ اس کے انتظامات میں شامل تھے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ ایک انتہائی افسوسناک واقعہ ہے لیکن بی سی سی آئی کو اس کے لیے ذمہ دار نہیں ٹھہرایا جا سکتا۔
ایک قابلِ گریز سانحہ
